I’m 'not your typical mom'.
And I have a 'not your typical child'.
I may even have a 'not your typical husband'!
Over the past several years I have researched
childbirth,
breastfeeding, child development, parenting, specifically
Attachment Parenting,
unschooling, Sensory Processing Disorder and Autism Spectrum
Disorder,
specifically Asperger Syndrome. In
fact,
I think it was in exactly that order!
I have amassed a great deal of information so
it’s time to
share it with other parents who may be looking for information and
support. I hope that is
what you will
find here. I want to help
empower
families to seek help and then believe in their own ability to
intuit what they
need in their own situation.
My hope is that someone out there somewhere can find support, encouragement and information through this blog that will help them navigate through their journey.
